Happy New Year (is it too late to be still saying HNY?!)! How are you finding the start of 2024 so far?
January can be a tricky month for many... settling back into work after an indulgent break with family and friends... all the admin and things to remember that comes with children returning to school and the numerous clubs. I firmly believe that January should be a restful month, a time to focus inward and embrace a healthy mindset.
Below are 3 things you can do to help you ease into 2024 gently:
1️⃣ INVEST IN YOU Prioritise your well-being by incorporating regular exercise and a balanced diet into your routine 🏋️♀️. Whether it's a brisk walk or mindfulness activities, make self-care a daily habit 🧘♂️💕. This could also include taking some time out to read, having a relaxing bath or even signing up to a new course to develop a skill or hobby.
2️⃣ CREATE BOUNDARIES WITH TECH After work, shut down devices and reclaim your personal time 🚫📱. Delete or move apps from your phone that you know are a distraction.
3️⃣ QUALITY SLEEP Sleep is crucial for overall well-being 😴💤. Establish a bedtime routine for at ideally at least 8 hours of rest, boosting focus, mood and immunity 🌙✨.
