I know I should do it...

We often think of spring as a time to reset our homes. But what about everything we’re carrying mentally? It’s an important and often overlooked part of reducing overwhelm at home.

After winter, it’s common to feel tired or out of sync, even as the days get lighter. You might also feel pressure to get motivated and organised again.

But real change rarely works like that. Research shows clutter can raise stress hormones and reduce focus, which is why even a little more space, physically or mentally, can feel calming.

It’s not about doing everything at once, but small, supportive shifts that make life feel easier.
